Six new projects supported by our Foundation

During the March 2024 board meeting, the administrators selected 6 very good projects with the development of beekeeping workshops for Animal’hom, the participation of Passerelle Ouest swimmers in the Special Olympic France, the creation of the Cozi’Café de Zicomatic, the purchase of a traveling big top circus for ZimZam, a new photographic project of PEP18 “Dear(s) sportsmen” with adolescents from an IME and a ULIS class and finally the creation of a musical booklet “Les Hypnotines” created with the hospitalized children of the Center Romans Ferrari in Miribel with the association “Cuivres en Dombes”.

Four houses for the FAOMA call for projects

As part of the FAOMA call for projects launched by the Dominique & Tom Alberici – Octalfa Corporate Foundation, four magnificent projects emerged: two respite homes will see the light of day, one in Beaujolais with AGIVR, and the other carried by Siel Bleu in Ille-et Villaine. The Domaine de l’Aube aims to create the first palliative care home in the Loire and AGEPA is leading the creation of a home intended to accommodate independent elderly families with adult children with disabilities and to support them in the reflection on the future of their child in the event of loss of autonomy of one of the parents.

Seven new projects supported by our Foundation

In December 2023, our administrators chose to support the parent’s house Maison Léon Bérard in order to renew the furniture in the common areas, the APPEL in order to support a structure for children with disabilities in Madagascar, Madatriso in Madagascar, Récré@ction to finance circus workshops for children, La maison de Nicodème to strengthen the action of volunteers, the storytellers of Quelle Histoire! in Lyon and finally the Cheer Up Federation for a support program for young people in their post-cancer period

Medicines for Europe: 5th Value Added Medicines Conference, 7th November 2023, Brussels

The Medicines for Europe association represent the pharmaceutical companies supplying the largest share of medicines across Europe, it holds its 5th conference on value-added medicines on November 7th, 2023, in Brussels.
Laurent Martin, Orphelia Pharma’s Chief Pharmaceutical Affairs Officer, will attend this conference with the story and market access of Kigabeq, the first pediatric formulation of vigabatrin for the treatment of a rare form of encephalopathic epilepsy: West syndrome.
